Introduction
In order to work with TIA Openness, the logged in user must be added to the user group “Siemens TIA Openness”.
Set up permission:
1. Computer must be in the company domain (if necessary 15 minutes after connecting to the company network)
2. Open Computer Management
3. Navigate to “Computer Management” -> “System” -> “Local Users and Groups” -> “Groups”
4. In the list, find “Siemens TIA Openness” and double-click to open the properties.
5. In the properties window, click “Add”.
6. In the “Select user” window, enter your user name (Windows login account) in the text field below and click “Check names”
7. If an underlined name is displayed, close the “Select User” window with “OK”
8. Confirm entry with OK
